How and when did you accept Christ in your life: February of 1991 When I discovered that, after making a total disaster of my life, Jesus was all that I needed… because Jesus was about all I had left. (class of ’87) Three people you admire: My dad, for constantly being willing to listen to my hairbrained ideas, John The Baptist for being willing to be radical to reach people, and Tom Atema (no, I’m not bucking for a promotion) for his visionary spirit. Favorite Food: Mexican Christian Book (besides The Bible) that has influenced you: Roaring Lambs by Bob Briner Favorite Movie: Funny Farm Person who personally influenced your walk with Christ: My first Sunday School Teacher, John Brown, one of just a few people in my life that have not been afraid to tell me the truth about myself, even when I wasn’t real crazy about hearing it. Favorite Color: Green What do you enjoy in your free time: Free time? I have 5 children and run a ministry on the side! The last free time I had I watched the Chicago Bears win the Super Bowl… get the idea? Most boring job: I worked in the Lawn and Garden Department at Home Improvement Chain for a while Something about me you might not know: I got through college on a percussion scholarship.
